Irish Acres Farm
Frequently Asked Questions
A few helpful things to know before you visit Irish Acres.
Where is Irish Acres?
We are at 2343 Gold Hill Road, Brooksville, Florida 34604, about forty minutes north of Tampa.
When is the farm open?
We are open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, seven days a week. Calling before you come helps us make sure someone is available to assist you.
Do you offer A2A2 raw milk?
Yes. Our Jersey cows produce naturally rich A2A2 raw milk. Please telephone before making the drive so we can tell you what is available that day.
Is Irish Acres milk certified organic?
We are a small, grass-based family farm focused on healthy pasture, careful animal care, and clean daily practice. We do not present our milk as USDA Certified Organic. Farmer Mark is always glad to explain exactly how the cows are raised and how the dairy operates.
What raw dairy products do you make?
Availability changes, but our farm pantry may include raw Jersey milk, heavy cream, butter, kefir, yogurt, cottage cheese, cream cheese, farmhouse cheese, clotted cream, and other small-batch dairy foods.
Do you have sourdough bread and farm-fresh eggs?
Yes, when available. Oksana makes naturally fermented sourdough bread and other farmhouse baking, and our hens provide fresh eggs. Please call before visiting.
Do you publish product prices online?
No. Availability changes, and we prefer to speak with customers directly. Please call the farm for what is currently available.
Can products be shipped?
No. Our farm products are collected here at Irish Acres.
How do I arrange a farm tour in Brooksville?
Telephone us to select a date. Tours are for groups of four or more and generally take two to three hours.
Can homeschool groups from Tampa Bay visit?
Yes. We welcome homeschool families and groups from across Tampa Bay and Central Florida for hands-on animal husbandry and farm learning experiences. Irish Acres is also an approved Step Up for Students provider.
